World most expensive footballer Neymar earns a whopping €3million (N1.3 billion per month) going by his new contract in Paris Saint-Germain.

German media outlet Der Spiegel have got their hands on a report that shows the prolific superstar is earning a total annual salary of €36.8m (N16 billion per year).

If you think that is crazy enough, brace yourself for even more eye-watering figures.

For a day's work, Neymar earns a mind blowing €100,000 (N42 million) to showcase his talents for Les Parisiens.

The document also reveals that PSG will pay Barcelona up to £214million for the star forward over his five-year deal.

He will also earn €4,000 (N1.7 million per hour) and €66 (N28,000 per minute) according to the leaked document.

However, Neymar is not the highest paid player.

That position goes to Carlos Tevez who is currently in the Chinese Super League with Shanghai Shenhua.

The Argentine takes home a greater wage, with reports suggesting he will pick up €38.4 million (N16.2 billion) from his first year in Asia.

Neymar, 25, has wasted no time settling into his new surroundings scoring on his debut and has already forged an impressive partnership with teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe and striker Edinson Cavani following his summer switch from Monaco.
