Neymar has told Paris Saint-Germain to sell Edinson Cavani, after the two players clashed over taking a penalty.

The two South American forwards, had to be separated in the dressing room following Sunday’s 2-0 victory over Lyon.

And now, according to Spanish outlet, Sport, the world’s most expensive player has told PSG chairman, Nasser Al-Khalifi, that the relationship is “broken” and playing together is “totally impossible”.

It is believed Neymar wants top-scorer Cavani offloaded in January.

The flashpoint came in the 79th minute of the Ligue 1 clash, when Kylian Mbappe won a penalty.

Neymar and Cavani argued over who would take a penalty, before the Uruguay striker won the battle, only to see his spot-kick saved.
