Bayern's Ribery harms knee

Bayern Munich's midfielder Franck Ribery (C) is helped off the pitch by medical staff after injuring his knee on October 1, 2017

Franck Ribery endured a presumed knee tendon damage in Bayern Munich's 2-2 draw at Hertha Berlin, as per the German goliaths' overseer mentor Willy Sagnol on Sunday.

"It's the knee, it will be important to have some extra tests to know all the more, however we presume a burst of the cruciate tendon," said Sagnol at Berlin's Olympic Stadium.

The 34-year-old Ribery, who is out of agreement next June, was in clear pain in the wake of run for the ball in the 62nd moment and must be offed.

Sagnol is in impermanent charge after Carlo Ancelotti was sacked on Thursday after Bayern's 3-0 drubbing at Paris Saint-Germain.

Bayern went 2-0 up at Berlin's Olympic Stadium with objectives by Mats Hummels and Robert Lewandowski before Hertha thundered back with objectives by Ondrej Duda and Salomon Kalou.

The outcome left Bayern second in Germany's best flight, yet five focuses from Bundesliga pioneers Borussia Dortmund.
