Premier League: Thierry Henry reveals why Lukaku flopped against Liverpool

Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry tried to explain why Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku was ineffective in his 0-0 draw against Liverpool on Saturday.

The Belgian international has been impressive this season and is currently the top scorer in the Premier League with seven goals.

However, he could not score against the Reds at Anfield, scoring only one shot on goal in 90 minutes.

"I think he was too impatient to score that goal that everyone would be talking about against a big team," said Henry on Sky Sports.

"This is the first time he has to do it with a Manchester United jersey.

"And I think he was too anxious in the first period and he was not in the right state of mind to finish that one against the one he had with [Simon] Mignolet and sometimes that in considers.

"But as I said, he will have other opportunities to rectify that."
