Rio Ferdinand has lavished praise on Marcus Rashford and is backing the teenager to continue to step his game up at Manchester United.

The 19-year-old has earned a reputation as one of the Premier League’s most exciting young talents since breaking into the first team at Old Trafford under Louis van Gaal in the 2015-16 campaign.
Rashford has gone on to earn a regular spot in the first team at Manchester United under new boss Jose Mourinho and he has also been impressing for the England team in recent months.
And Manchester United legend Ferdinand believes that Rashford is in the right place to step his game up.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Ferdinand said: “He’s somebody who can be a huge talent for United and England — and he’s at the right place to do that.
“He’s got the backing of the manager, the backing of the fans and the confidence of the players, and the more I see him, the more he’s bringing new things to his game and adding to it.”
Rashford will be hoping to feature for Manchester United when the Red Devils return to Premier League action after the international break with a crunch clash against Liverpool on Saturday at Anfield.
The Red Devils head into the game in fine form, having won six of their opening seven games to leave them level on points with leaders Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
Teenage forward Rashford has scored two goals and made three assists for Mourinho’s men so far this season.Thank you
