Tottenham vs Liverpool: How Maradona lectured Harry Kane on goal scoring before match

Legendary Argentine Diego Maradona has taken advantage of Totteham striker Harry Kane to score goals in his goals before his two goals against Liverpool this weekend.

Maradona gave England some advice before Tottenham sacked Liverpool 4-1 in the Premier League, while Kane won two goals at Wembley.

Maradona was invited to Wembley last Sunday and saw him with his former international teammate and former Spurs manager Ossie Ardiles.

The video posted on the official Twitter page of Tottenham shows that Maradona warned the 24-year-old player that he was too predictable against the goal.

"Wow, what a scorer," said Maradona, introducing Kane to Hugo Lloris.

"Mauricio has a real backbone in the team, Hugo stops everything at one end and Harry puts everything on the other."

After wishing the two men enjoyed the game, Maradona added: "Oh, and Harry, do not always get close to your punches." Go through the goal sometimes.

"You know why, the guard is watching you on television all the time, so next time ... go ahead!"
