The Chelsea player, Antonio Conte, has admitted that the latest injury chosen by Victor Moses is a big blow for the current Premier League champions.

The Nigerian superstar was forced to retire on Saturday, October 14, before Chelsea lost 2-1 to Crystal Palace in a Premier League match.

It appeared to be a hamstring tendon injury, but Antonio Conte said more tests were needed before a final evaluation could be made.

"Victor Moses is currently in a bad situation, and this is another big loss for us because he is one of our important players.

"There really was not so much time, but we talked with our medical team to really find out the level of their problem," said the Italian strategist.

But another recent report has suggested that the former Liverpool and Wigan striker could be out of commission until six weeks.
