100 Goals up for insatiable Cavani as PSG win without Neymar
The injured Neymar stayed home while Edinson Cavani reached a century of goals in Ligue 1 with a double at Paris Saint-Germain 5-0 in Angers on Saturday.
The world's most expensive player was eliminated at the Raymond Kopa Stadium by a minor problem in the thigh during the Champions League victory against Anderlecht, but he did not miss it as PSG had a seven-point lead over Monaco.
Kylian Mbappe and Julian Draxler scored early in the game and Cavani scored his 100th best goal for France in the half-hour mark.
The Uruguayan scored again in the hour before Mbappe took his second day of delay to take him to six goals in 12 games for the club.
A second consecutive victory of five goals for PSG means they will remain unbeaten in all competitions this season, while Angers has yet to win at home.
"I think this performance was on the same level as the home match against Niza (3-0) and Anderlecht (5-0) this week, in the same direction in terms of attitude and mentality," said the coach. Unai Emery
In addition to Neymar, the PSGs did not have Marquinhos and Angel Di Maria, whose partners gave birth in recent days. Therefore, Emery has chosen to give Javier Pastore his first start since August.
The opening of the PSG came in five minutes, Mbappe sending a center Dani Alves to the right, and was 2-0 before it was played a quarter of an hour.
Once again Alves was the supplier with a delicious ball for Draxler, who defeated Mathieu Michel with a first final cut.

The third goal that allowed Cavani to reach his century came at the end of a brilliant play, with Alves finding Adrien Rabiot, who freed Mbappe to show his lightening rhythm and established the Uruguayan at home.
Cavani, signed by Napoli in 2013, reached the peak of his 145th appearance in Ligue 1 and joined a select club that scored 100 goals in two of Europe's top five leagues after achieving the feat in Serie A.
The only ones who have done so are Gonzalo Higuaín (Spain and Italy) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (France and Italy).
He is also on track to catch Ibrahimovic as the all-time leading scorer in the league, with the Swede batting 113 in his four seasons.
Cavani hit his 101st, his 13th this season, in the fashion of the brand, starting his career in the right position and jumping forward to pick up a Draxler pass before hitting the house.
Mbappe completed the defeat by surrounding Michel and scored under a close angle after being thrown by Lucas Moura.
Defending champion Monaco can get close to four PSG points at the top with a home win at Guingamp later (1900 GMT).
Nantes, Claudio Ranieri, host of Toulouse, is looking for a victory that will take him back to third place over Lyon, who will travel to Saint-Etienne on Sunday.
Also on Sunday, Marseille received Caen in an environment that could be tense on his first outing as Patrice Evra was suspended by the club for attempting a karate punch at the head of one of his supporters.
Evra was cleared after the incident, which occurred in the pre-match warm-up before Thursday's game against the Europa League with Vitoria Guimaraes in Portugal.
